I’m Leo, a photographer, snare drummer, researcher, and tennis captain. I’m interested in whose stories get told, and how we learn to listen more closely.
From women’s work in Yunnan’s Blang villages to immigrant stories in San Francisco’s Chinatown, I connect photography, research, and community service.

A question that connects my work
Who gets seen.
Who gets heard.
As a tennis player and photographer, I started asking how the media portrays women in sports. That question became a research project, then an effort to encourage more thoughtful coverage.
