Independent researcher · March–June 2026
Qualitative research and case study analysis of gender representation in professional tennis coverage. Examined unequal media attention, gendered language and emotional standards, and the sexualization of female athletes. Authored a 3,000-word research paper.
Student photojournalist & field researcher · July 2026
Conducted photography and interviews in Jingmai Mountain villages. Curated “Hands Pass the Touch,” an exhibition about women’s labor and cultural transmission.

Interviewed six women in San Francisco Chinatown and explored historical accounts in Judy Yung’s Unbound Voices. Authored “Across a Century: The Resilience of Chinese Immigrant Women.”
